You might also like to try turmeric capsules. This was recommended to me by a nutritionist at a breast cancer charity and it works for me in dulling the pain to an acceptable level. You may need to ask your oncologist first to check it fits in with any other medication you take.
Accupuncture ? CBD oil ? May be worth a try as an alternative to conventional painkillers .Accupuncture
has been helpful to me ,CBD not much impact but others have found it helpful for pain .
Thank you.Interesting.Not sure I could use it as codeine makes me really sick and this looks stronger.Have to be careful of what I take as only have one kidney due to kidney cancer.
I've been taking Tramadol occasionally to counter leg and joint pains from chemo and expect to carry on needing in when I start Arimidex.
I'm trying very hard not to come off anastrozole.I'm almost 3 years in but 10 years is recommended for me.I'll try to do 5 and then see! I have my onc appt in Nov and really could do with some help to carry on taking them.I'm continually hurting bits of me because of the tight tendons and awful joint pain.I've just gone back on amitriptyline but is there any pain relief that others take that I can ask for? I use ibuprofen gel but can't take codeine or gabapentin.I just need a bit of support to manage the symptoms.
