Wondering if anyone has had an allergic reaction to Docetaxol? My chemo had to be stopped as on round 2 out of 3, I reacted again, despite steriods and antihistamines beforehand this time. Being told now I’m likely to change to Abraxane…
Just wondering if any with similar experiences?

Angelgal Sorry to hear you had a reaction, I did on my 2nd T back in 2017. They did get the rest of infusion in. My onc said I could either have abraxane or have another fec, I opted for another fec. I do know others who had to switch to abraxane after reaction to t and hope they pop on too Hope that helps reassure you it is quite common and your team will have seen it all before even though at the time it’s and you want to run for the hills (we’ll that’s how it made me feel at the time)
