'I'm a Benchie gir-ur-url in a Benchie wur-ur-urld'...'like a rhinestone shoe girl la-la'...I walk around the house singing/humming these random songs! No wonder my son says 'You're a funny woman, Mum'!
I had a session at the Body Shop yesterday - for a fresher, more summery look! Aah, it's all about sweeping on & building up layers! The assistant brushed on Seaweed matt moisturiser, then a primer, then mineral face powder, then eye concealer/highlighter, then eye shadows, then bronzer, then blusher, then did eyebrows with powder shadow, then lip stain - I was well and truly made up! I don't think I will be doing so many 'layers', but eyes looked good, so may consider using eye shadow again.
Today I mashed an avocado for home-made face pack - nice, really cooling - then patted on sweet almond oil. Will look radiant for MMU!

Not partial to tattoos either....................have been told about a lady who had an mx and had flowers tattooed over her scars, she feels so confident now, such a personal decision so would go with what ever makes YOU feel good!
Am off to supermarket today woo hoo, ED coming to get me then she will push me in a wheelchair

Hi Ali, well as the proud possessor of nipplet which wowed my BCN today, here are my answers...
There are various techniques, from nipple sharing via skate-flaps star-flaps and t-flaps to free skin/fatflaps. I had the last of these as real nipple is too diddy to share and my PS won't do origami flaps on irradiated skin. Answers are based on my epxerience, which is much the same as the other flaps I believe.
1) No, not at all... it is done under local and takes about an hour.
2) None. Well as long as it takes for the local to wear off. May be a litlte bit sore depending where they take it from, but nothing otc pain meds won't fix. I wnet out for coffee and cake afterwards, then back to work.
3) I wondered that too... but I trust my PS. She told me that symmetry would be slightly off as she was working with the centre of the 'patch' in my recon (where the areola used to be) and my uplifted boob has not yet re-drooped. Tbh it is only out by a few mm so not far off what nature supplied. Five weeks on it has settled and looks amazing (my BCN was convinced it was a nipple share!).
Sizewise, the finished article is very simlar to the real one in terms of diameter, and in terms of projection I suppose about the same as semi-erect
(vicars probably aren't meant to know that, especially single ones!!).
Couple of thoughts...
Have you tried a prosthetic nipple? I haven't had one, but they come in all shapes and sizes, and would help you decide if it might be for you. My hosp will even custom make these by moulding from the remaining real one!!
Have you seen any photos of his work? Or would he let you speak to any of his patients? Most PS seem photo obsessed (well mine is anyway) so it may be feasible to see some pics.

Just finished watching Wimbledon. What a match indeed! So glad I didn't watch it live. I really didn't expect Andy to win but I'm so glad he did. Now what do I watch? What do I do in the evenings? Can I still eat strawberries and cream?
Katy, they ought to give out things to keep plasters dry when they put them on. Fortunately I've never been plastered (or not in that sense anyway) but I would imagine it's nearly impossible to do ones ablutions without getting it wet!

Well had to go to A&E plaster has to be redone tomorrow, feel such an idiot and have got myself in such a state
!
All so kind at the hospital but has to be replastered by specialist so down in the dumps and now off to sit on the "CSL" bench, can't believe it??????? So please can I have some chocolate cake and lots of hankies, she says drying her tears and sniffing loudly and feeling supremely sorry for herself xx

Foot throbbing, my day consists of getting up, lying down, slathering foot in cling film and plastic bags so I can shower, lying down, falling asleep blah, blah, blah! It's all a HUGE effort!
