Re: Jane McLelland

Hi all

i follow Abbey mitchell’s blog and I can assure you she is not out for monetary gain. Her input to the mbc community is invaluable and basically her Facebook group became so overwhelmed she was struggling to reach out to people and had to change the groups status to secret. (It’s now just closed so you can request to join). She is looking for patrons purely so she can get help dealing with people seeking her help.

Hope this clarifies things x

Re: Jane McLelland

Hi

yes I started the COC Protocol about 3 weeks ago. I’ve read HTSC also so doing Jane’s supplements. I’m mbc to spine but currently NED, due to the hormone inhibitors letrozole and zoladex. Also just started Palbociclib and denosumab. Please feel free to ask me any questions about my treatment. I will be glad to share.

Thanks Annie, I’ll investigate.  I only share info for free as I know cancer patients are vulnerable. Xxxx

Re: Jane McLelland

Hi Mai, lovely of you to keep us up with current targeted meds, but this is a very long article which I would have thought could have put some users off. Perhaps it would be helpful to précis it? You are always so good at helping people it seems a shame to put them off. I am also worried that you have not read your friends blog thoroughly, as it appears she is not averse to accepting monetary gifts , which I thought was a little odd as this forum normally remove advertisements etc, and it looks as though this is a business. The title is quite concerning as well, I thought. ‘ Healing Breast Cancer’ is a big claim with supplements. I’m sure we all use supplements, I know I do, but I believe my conventional medicine keeps my secondaries stable . Perhaps I’ve misread it? X

Hi Rachel

Thank you for the info and link to your blog.  I have just read your story and a bit about your journey and realised you have passed your 2 year anniversary which is great news. Please update your story with your 2 year anniversary so that anyone reading knows you are very much still with us.

I will certainly be dipping in again to read all the great info you have kindly added.

Re: Jane McLelland

I just found this research paper which suggests targeting Notch signalling (mentioned in HTSC book)  as it is involved in the formation of metasteses via bone marrow osteoblasts:

Re: Jane McLelland

Hi Mai7,

Really enjoyed reading this!

I’ve read the book and went to hear Jane speak shortly after it’s release, I was already doing some of the things she advocates, and taking many supplements, but think you take even more than I do! I plan to start the full programme after my appointment at the clinic. I’ve always believed in an integrative, holistic approach to cancer and that lifestyle choices can make a considerable difference.

Thanks for posting,

Re: Jane McLelland

Thank you my book arrived today so I’m sure once I get through it I’ll have questions. Think I’m going to research, talk to my oncologist and use both the medical approach I’m on combined with the COC protocol. I have lots to gain and not much too lose x I will look at the blogs thanks

Re: Jane McLelland

This book sounds interesting as I have exhausted most treatments now so nothing to lose. I will say I have been taking a garlic supplement(high strength) every day and i'm not sure about the cancer but it has cleared very quickly the fungus in my nails that chemo causes and cleared down below aswell which I have been plagued by with every time I have to take an antibiotic.

will order the book now, so thanks

Re: Jane McLelland

Hi Rachel50,

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis.  I talk about Jane McLelland How to Starve Cancer on my blog http://lifeafterlola.com/ on the “Metabolism” thread.  I’ve been on the COC protocol since Nov 2018 as I’m 68% risk for recurrence after 8 rounds of chemo, mx and radiotherapy.  I can’t take the Doxycycline though as I’m allergic.  Feel free to ask any questions.  I’ve listed what supplements I take on my “Moving On” thread.

Has anyone read Starve your Cancer book written by Jane McLelland. Advising use of prescribed drugs like metformin to starve the pathways cancer uses. I was diagnosed in dec last year then secondaries found two months later. Does anyone follow the protocol or use COC clinic in London thank you
