I was fifteen months between finishing treatment and then DX with secondary in bones. I'm having Exmestane and Everolimus combo. The first few months were very hard to tolerate with the side effects but things have settled down and life goes on much the same as before my DX. So sorry you have had to face this as well but you will see loads of encouragement on this site.
Best Wishes Susan X
i don’t have this bugger of a disease but I came here to get knowledge, advice and support for my 82 year old Mum who has just been diagnosed.
i hope you find lots of similar advice here. Lots of the threads have honest, hopeful, brave stories from women living with MBC every day.
i wish you a return to good health, some good luck and happiness.
Hi everyone I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer April 2016, I had 12 weekly chemo and 3 rounds of 3 weekly had surgery and then 15 rounds of rads. Then in September 2018 I was diagnosed again with secondary breast cancer triple negative, and had chemo which was carbogem which was very harsh on my body. So I'm asking what's it like to live with secondary breast cancer.
