Re: 10 months post radiotherapy and still sore

Hi it's six months since I had radiotherapy and I still suffer from pain and stiffness. Keep hoping that things will get better. Started yoga to see if this helps plus swimming. Early days will post if things improve. X

10 months post radiotherapy and still sore

Just wondered if any of you ladies know how long it takes, if at all, to not feel tender on your radiotherapy site. Mine is still tender to the touch and lumpy. Am about to start on with my reconstruction, as am meeting my plastic surgeon at the end of the month. Will he want to delay it, if I tell him it's still tender. I knew it would be sore for a while after, but didn't expect it to be this far down the road. I had no peaking or skin problems from the radiotherapy.
