Hi there, good news they didnt find anything suspicious at the clinic, nurses were fantastic. She did notice the asymmetric and felt the thickening in my larger, right breast. Ultrasound was clear, it showed a thin er layer of breast fat coverung breast tissue, which meant the 'thickening' was actually normal breast tissue that was closer to the surface. Phew.
THANK YOU, for your words of support, in regard to work, I didnt want to reveal the nature of my appointment so they didnt know it was an urgent referral. Too embarrassing to say, silly I know.
I hope your appointment brings good news, the staff as the clinic are very smooth and comforting. Please let us know how it goes!
Hi,
thought I'd share my story so far, it's not much but inacase there is others in my boat. The past 2 years, my right breast has been growing at a much faster rate than the other. I never noticed a difference in the past. Atm it is a HH cup whilst my left breast fits into F cup. So, I have one enlarged breast. Lovely. Also, there is a slight thickening and a tiny lump, which doesnt go away. I also experience a dead weight/pain in my right shoulder and upper arm/elbow. And, back pain between my shoulder blades, which is probably do to my breast size. Also, the DR referred me as when I lost weight, the breast didn't shrink.
Additionally, I have irregular periods, last cycle was 126 days, no cramps, hardly any blood. Thats been checked out and is all normal, as can be. So DR sees no link between the two, so hes referred me. My appointment is Friday 10th July and I'm quite nervous as what to expect as im only 23. I will update when I can.
