Hi Whitfield,
So sorry to hear of your diagnosis. It is such a shock when you receive the news that you have Breast Cancer. I remember so clearly my consultant's words 3 years ago. You feel that your world has fallen apart.
I had 2cm. Grade 3 lump weakly hormone positive so I do take Tamoxifen.
You will feel slightly better when you have a plan in place and actually start treatment. I had lumpectomy, chemo and rads - finished treatment two and a half years ago.
A very good friend of mine had 4cm Grade 3 triple negative. She had mastectomy, chemo and rads. This was 11 years ago and she has been fine. I'm sure others will answer you with similar stories.
Do keep coming on here as it helps so much before, during and after treatment. x
