ANy TN ladies with 'just' bone mets?

If so, what treatment do you have? Just bone pills or Zometa or are you on chemo? My onc told me - before my hormones failed me - that chemo wasn't too effective for bones, and my Macmillan nurse said same when asked.
While I'm currently on Cap and coping 'OK' - tiredness - just up at 5pm!! - I'm due bone scan in November to see if it's doing any good. If it's not then there's another oral then back to IV is my understanding - and IV is hell for me - I have 1 vein, it took 1,5 hours to cannualise me for a blood transfusion a few days back, I had septicemia when they gave me a hickman during my primary chemo so am scared of anything like that - devil and deep blue sea!! To go thru that for little hope of effectiveness seems daft to me right now.
