Re: All too much - need some good stories

Hi Whitfield,

so sorry you find yourself here. I was diagnosed in November 2012 with grade 3 ductal invasive cancer with lymph node involvement. The only difference is that my cancer was hormone positive. I had chemo and joined the monthly chemo thread as one of the February Valentines 2013. At least one of our number was triple negative. We are well past the first of our once yearly mammograms and breast checks and apart from the odd little grumble, are doing well. I was just going to point you in the direction of the triple neg thread, but notice you have already found it.

You will most likely need to have chemo, but that isn't as bad as people think it is, and you can join one of the more recent monthly threads, you'll find them here:

Sending big hugs and wishing you all the best for your onco appointment.

Lump discovered 4 weeks ago. Saw GP then referred to hospital. Bio last week. Yesterday heard Grade 3 and lymphs involved. Today heard triple negative. All too much to take in.

CT scan next Monday and seeing oncologist.

Need to hear from similar person with good news/hope.
