Amazing NHS

Just want to share a wonderful thing that happened this week. I had a MX in June last year the the full gamut of treatment, finishing radiotherapy just before Christmas. Felt I’d really turned a corner from New Year, feeling upbeat and positive. Came down to earth with a bump last week when I found a lump in my other breast. Worked myself up into a frenzy of fear over the weekend, fearing the worst. So I phoned my BCN on Monday and by Tuesday lunchtime I was seeing the surgeon who then arranged an immediate ultrasound scan. This was done by a lovely radiotherapy consultant I’ve seen before. She took her time scanning me before declaring it was nothing to worry about- just a breast tissue lump. I was soooooo relieved. How lucky are we to have the NHS - I couldn’t have asked for a better service!

That is just such good news!

And how everyone worked together to give you as little worry time as possible ( why do these things always happen at the weekend!?!)

and it’s great to hear you are feeling stronger.

all the very best with your continuing recovery
