Re: Anxious

Thank you everybody for positive comments.  I have just got home from hospital and everything went well. Just wondering now why I got myself so worked up. I really surprised myself  yesterday that I was fairly calm. Well that is one hurdle over. So hopefully I have to only have radiotherapy.  Results on 18th December.

Hope everybody is doing well in their treatment. xx

Re: Anxious

Good luck with your surgery today Lizzy.

Everyone feels anxious before their surgery so you are not alone. It is fear of the unknown.

I'm sure you will be fine after your operation and be pleasantly surprised how quickly you are able to do your post-op arm and shoulder exercises.

Take care,

Re: Anxious

Hi Lizzy

Does sound like anxiety. We are all feeling very fragile and maybe you pushed beyond your bodies reserves....Coffee and cake comes to mind,,,seriously sounds like a blip...we have them as you know as mentally we very fragile.Maybe the heat, excitement ,crowds was all too much.

I too have seen my Gp re anxiety.was given tablets ..up to 3 a day when needed  .I have taken 2 tablets over the last 2 weeks so not really needed in my case,Do hope the "experience" has passed and you back on track today

Re: Anxious

I think sometimes the way we try to carry on and act normal catches up with us.  Your husband and daughter are probably right, it is probably anxiety, and you have every right to be anxious.  I found a youtube video suggested on here, very helpful http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrKPb9jt-GU  before my surgery.  It is selfhypnosis.

Anxious

Hi everybody tomorrow I go for my WLE and SNB. Since joining the forum have found alot of support. But yesterday my daughter took me out for the day and I was fine then about mid afternoon I started sweating , had a headache and was sick .My daughter had to bring me home I felt like I was going to pass out and was sick again. My husband and daughter say it is anxiety. Has anybody else been like this and could give me any advice.

Sorry to to be natterering  on when there are so many ladies going through the same thing.

Good luck and best wishes to everybody xxxxx
