Re: Anybody read 'Lymphline'?

I think I know what you mean, Rowena - and no, you don't sound 90 at all!

I hate to criticise without also being constructive and I have to admit that it must be very hard to convey something meaningful about lymphoedema on a fundraising notelet.

The only alternative I've come up with so far would be a picture of the Moehne Dam after the famous Dambusters raid during WWII .... dunno ...... could be a bit off the wall.

I live near a canal so perhaps I'll take my camera out and see if I can get some shots of the lock gates in operation; same sort of imagery, I suppose!

I agree! But I'm very conventional in my tastes for such things - I like flowers and landscapes - and I don't like any sort of cartoons really. God, makes me sound about 90!

Just got my Spring 09 edition of Lymphline.

Is it me? I don't like the new notelets at all! I don't really find it easy to make light of this condition and I don't feel that the notelets convey the seriousness of it at all. (Perhaps I'm just grumpy 🙂

To be fair, the editorial admitted that they might not be to everyone's taste.....
