Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi girls

Sarah - sorry you can't make young woman's forum, they are supposed to have one every year but they never had one last year. Good that your scare cleared up.

Helen - I was at a friends Sat night for dinner party, good food, good wine and such a good laugh, haven't laughed so much in ages, too much wine drunk but as I'm on chemo I don't get the hangover!!

Sat my Sky plus boxed crashed!!! I phoned up and they can't get an engineer out for 2 weeks as I stay in a flat, they need a specialist team, just give me a new box for godsake!!!! So that's me got no T.V and have lost all my good programmes I've been recording!!!!
To say I'm raging is doesn't came anywhere close to it!!
Worse thing is I have been on to complain but still nothing can be done as they cannot speak to a human, it's all done through a computer. I even went onto Virgin to see how quick they would come out, again 2 weeks, I phones Sky back and said I had been speaking to Virgin, still nothing can be done, I am now putting pen to paper, 'all complaints must be put in writing', is it me or has the world gone mad, maybe I'm not doing it right!!
I did tell them I was getting treatment for cancer and couldn't get out the house, now stuck with no T.V, they said they still couldn't do anything!!! I do have freeview in my room thank god but I wasn't telling them that.

Moan over!!

Got CT Scan this morning so hopefully results will be ready thurs when I see ONC, they just had to do it without the contrast as they wanted to put needles in arms and NOT use hickman, NO NEEDLES for me!!! I don't want lymphodema thank you. Results wont be a clear tho.

Carol- hows Ozzy, how did neck go/get results???

Hope you all had good weekend

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi All

Sarah - glad everything is OK.

Fiona - I don't get my mamogram till april - 1yr 6 weeks after 1st surgery. I have to admit my boob is quite sore at the momment too, but I think it's just the muscles pulling as I start to do more things.

I'm really suffering today - I was at a neighbours with friends last night having a takeaway and a few glasses of wine. I was soooooo ill when I got home - I'm such a lightweight, I think 1 glass of wine is my limit now!!!

Off to get another paracetamol - lol!!

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi there,

Its all ok, it was my rib! How much of a twit do I feel! Doctor is fantastic, had a great big talk with me. Asked me if I was weepy and right on cue the tears came flooding out! Gave me some tablets for hot flushes, Clonidine and wants to see me in two weeks. I'm a bit worried about taking drugs that haven't been okayed by Onc. Not allowed to have alcohol with them, not really a drinker but cos I can't have one, I want one!

Thank you girls for your concern. It means alot as I don't really share with anyone else apart from hubby.

Lulu - We hopefully will be getting our house at Dreghorn. Have lived at Dreghorn twice over the years and I really like it too. Will miss Paisley though.

Morning ladies,
Bit worried this morning (understatement)! Found a nobbly bit under pesky right boob last night. Off to Doctors at 11. I'm sure its nothing as boob just not the same as other one anymore, but better safe than sorry. I'm sure I'm being silly, had mammo last month! Will keep you posted.

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

MAGGIE - Hope you had a great birthday. Sorry missed lunch but was bit nervous driving in such awful snow. Enjoy the freedom of not going to the Beatson every day.
SARAH - sometimes you just have one of these days when you can't be bothered. I find that I can't sleep all night then want to sleep from about 9 in morning.
FIONA - sorry missed lunch. Hope we can organise another one soon.

Saw oncologist on Tuesday. Because of bad reaction - NO MORE TAXOTERE. Staying on Xeloda for another 4 cycles then scan to see how things are. If good, could get wee break from chemo then start me on something different. Doesn't know yet what it will be.

Hope everyone else OK

luv

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Morning Ladies,

Sharon - Yes, we do live on the Paisley Patch. Hubby doesn't work in APC though, He is OC for Recruiting and works from Hotspur St, Maryhill. Trying to organise our next move back to Edinburgh. Should be moving end May/beg June. Its a very small army world!
Whats the Young Womens Forum? Don't want to be missing out on anything!! Good luck with your scan Monday.

Happy Birthday to Maggie, hope you have a good day. Glad you've finished rads and don't have to go to beatson everyday!

Well, its just me and wee Murdo today. Cliff away to work with Meg and Lewis at school. Still not dressed and the house is a tip, need motivated! Had one of the worst nights yet last night, tossed and turned, window open, window closed, covers on, covers off, need a wee, window open, covers off, need a wee, walk round the bed, mind racing with irrational thoughts....... it was endless!!! I know I would feel so much better for a full nights sleep.

Can't believe is snowing again! Was going to go through to Edinburgh with other half to have a look at the army houses but I'd have to drive home myself and I had visions of being snowed in on the M8!

Kim, hope you new charge is settling in. My collie follows me about all the time too. If I put certain jeans on she knows i'm taking her a run but if I pick up my handbag she knows shes going nowhere! They are so clever! I walk them everyday, huge big long walks but each time we go, you would think they had never been out ever before, they go mad!

My wee boy, bless him, is all happy cos cheryl cole is single again! He fell the other day, waving at a friend passing in the car and split his elbow open! He was very brave, didn't cry. Me personally would have been screaming!

Anyway, I really should move myself, I've got a Jedward going on with the old hair. Hope theres not an emergency!

Love Sarah x

Hi Kim, Ozzy is a Cockerpoo, which is a cocker spaniel and poodle crossbread, he is chocolate brown and adorable, totally smitten by him, we had a german shepherd years ago, so this is totally different as Ozzy will be a lot smaller

Maggie, well done on finnishing rads, you must be so pleased its all done, did Jack get some of your KFC?

Sharon, good luck for Monday for your scan, good to see you are going to Spain, we are hoping to go to Florida in October so no Spain trip for me.

Hi girls
Thanks for letting me know a bit about you all. It's really hard to come into an established group where everyone knows each other but you have all made me really welcome and I thank you for that 🙂 hopefully i'll know everyone before long! I'm living in Paisley now, moved here 3 years ago when I got married but originally from EK and am pretty much up there everyday as my daughter and 2 granddaughters live there.
What kind of puppy is Ozzy? The german shepherd Dexy we r fostering for the rescue just now is fab. He follows us about everywhere, we r thinking of renaming him "shadow"!! So happy to see so many of u r going to YWF. Can't wait to meet u all.
Congrats on finishing ur rads Maggie!
Have a good week.

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Welcome to Kim and Sarah - it all seems a bit much when you first start on Forum. I could never remember names etc, but you soon get into the way of it.
I am 60 years old and live in EK. Moved here 3 years ago to be near my daughter - I'm a widow. She is just 5 houses away and lives with hubby and baby Jessica, 16 months. I have a son and they have Cameron, whose 4 next month.
First diagnosed 12 years ago with usual mastectomy and chemo and Tamoxifen. Spread to Ovary 5 years ago and been on and off chemo since. Get Taxotere and Xeloda. Taxotere is a bugger and SE's are getting worse. It does work to reduce tumour so just have to keep going.
No pets but daughter has a wee dog, Daisy, a Bijon, who comes to me often. Gets peace and quiet and spoiled with me.
Look forward to meeting up with you girls soon.
Fiona - hope to meet up with you girls on Wednesday if feeling OK
Sharon will let me have details of where and when.

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi Everyone,

Annie, sorry to hear about your wee cat... hopefully he'll be on the mend soon..

Sarah, that's a shame about the hair!! My friend has the same problem, she has italian hair and the white ones are so resisitant to colour she'll have to go lighter too..she's never had chemo so we can't blame it on that! maybe if the composition of your hair alters in the next year it might settle down...They say it takes about a year for chemo to leave your system.

I enjoyed my dinner last night it was lovely, My sister in law and niece are away home now, so all quiet here..

Looks like the holiday to Spain is going ahead, so far it's me, Sharon and hopefully Lulu....anybody else not fancy it?..I'm making up for last year and going to cram as many in as poss!!

Hope you're all having a nice weekend

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi Guys

Big welcome to Kim and Sarah!

I'm Annie, diagnosed 4th jan last year with IDC. It spread to the lymph nodes but thankfully the 5cm tumour responded exceptionally well to 4 x FEC and I only needed a lumptectomy and lymph removal. Then 4 x Tax - of cursed memory! then 6 weeks of rads at the Blessed Beatson, which ended on 6/1/10. I am Her2 pos so will be getting Herceptrin for another 10 courses. Seeing my consultant on 25th to get a handle on everything. All in all, a year almost to the day of treatment.

Getting better bit by bit, though Tax made me doubt it as I had a hellish reaction to it too. But I am glad I persevered.

Maggie, you know how much I wanted to see the back of the Beatson. I know it sounded like I was an ingrate but those 6 weeks in the freezing snow, over the Christmas hols were no fun. At all.

Carol - how is Ozzy? He'll be missing his mum and sibs. Pound to a penny he is emcamped to the foot of the bed. More probably on th pillow. Am i right, or am I right???

Maggie - way to go girl - you are shot of all this chemo/rads nonsense before a birthday with an 0 at the end of it. Hope Jack's
poor wee tum is settled.

AUNTIE Sharon. Ain't auniethood great! Not having to change too many of the brown nappies ... but all the fun stuff. Is Emma going to be called Emma?

Shiela, hope they can give you something other than Tax. It is a nasty wee drug. Please let us know when you are feeling a bit better.

My big Whisper had to have his leg amputated this pm (op was scheduled for the 9th) but detiorated so the leg was taken from the hip. Poor wee guy is disorientated and sore. Thank god though the procedure is over.

Hope all of you are thriving

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi Kim,

I'm the new one too! I've just turned 37 (I think!), diagnosed Dec 2008. Found lump the week before we moved to Paisley, diagnosed the week after! Lumpectomy on xmas eve! Further surgery to remove some more tissue in the January 2009, lymph nodes clear. 2cm lump, grade 2. 6 FECs, extreme vomiting throughout! That was my biggest problem. Eventually they kept me in Beatson for each chemo, there was no point in sending me home! Four weeks of radio, finished middle August. Five years tamox and two year zoladex. Still having 'can't believe this has happened to me' days!

I have Lewis who is 9 and hubby is Cliff. We are an army family and move around alot. Moving back to Edinburgh June this year! Two dogs, Meg 6, Border Collie (behaves perfectly, well trained and Murdo 1 1/2, Cairn Terrier (cheeky rascal, untrainable!). My dogs have got me through this! They never expected me to be positive all the time and never commented on how dreadful I looked! And, they made me walk them everyday, otherwise I would not have left this house!

Fiona - was in the shop today, those grey hairs just never took the colour! They were un-colourable! Will have to go back to being blonde to disguise them! How depressing!

Hope you all have a good weekend. Can't wait for live episode of Enders tonight (I like my soaps).

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi Kim
Like Fiona I’m 39 and was diagnosed at the same time; on my son’s 4th bday ( I’ve got 3 kids; 2 boys 8yrs & nearly 5yrs & a wee girl 1 1/2 yrs – I was still breast feeding when I was diagnosed).

I had an 11mm IDC ER+ with a 3rd of a mm trace on my sentinel node. I had a lumpectomy, with EPI-CMF chemo and 6 wks of rads, which I finished on Nov 24th – Moved house on the same day!! I wore a cold cap so kept most of my hair – I was really lucky and had very few side effects with chemo apart from being tired, but my last chemo hit me really hard and finally zapped my ovaries. I had genetic tests done at the end of last year, BRCA 1 OK still waiting on BRCA2 I’m going to chase up if i don’t hear back in next couple of weeks. I stay near Stirling so gate crashed this forum just after I was diagnosed, everyone is lovely and have been a huge support.
Good luck with Dexy on Saturday.

Maggie – fab news that you’ve almost fininshed your rads, I was soooooo excited on my last day. I had a horrible deep chesty cough by the end of my rads which has only just gone. I read somewhere that it can be a side effect ????? how’s jack, I hope he’s feeling better and ..... you are not old!

Sharon – I love the name Emma, I wanted to call Seren that. How did you do with the surgeon today? Good luck with your chemo tomorrow, I’ll be thinking of you.

Sarah – Thanks for your tip about OEP – I’ll might just stock up on it for when I change my Tamoxifan.

Carol – Hows Ozzy?

Annie – Hope wee whisper is doing OK

Fiona – I decided to join you in a glass of wine – have a good time with your dad.

Sheila – What a time you are having at the moment. You’re so brave and are doing great. How’s Fiona and wee Jessica? I hope you’re taking it easy.

Well, I’m off work tomorrow, so taking my mum shopping in the morning and then I'll be icing cakes on saturday for Kian’s party.

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi Fiona,

I'm 39 too. I was diagnosed in 2000 with Infiltrative Ductal Carcinoma (I take it that's an IDC?), which was ER+. Had mastectomy with immediate reconstruction, also lymph clearance with 1 affected. I'm sorry, as I'm new on here, I don't really understand abbreviations! 😞
I haven't really spoken to anyone else with breast cancer in the last 10 years, apart from a few older ladies in a hospital support group I used to go to, and it was all a bit taboo!
Had 6 weeks of rads then Tamoxifen for 5 years. Had genetic testing done in June last year as I have a 21 year old daughter, as yet no results!

Are you going to the Waterside in Strathaven? If yes I've been there loads it's lovely. Enjoy. Please tell Maggie Happy Birthday from me.

Speak soon

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi Kim,

I am 39 and was diagnosed in Feb last year with a 13mm IDC ER+,PR+ and Her2+ with LVI..Had a WLE with clear margins and nodes..I took part in the sold trial and had 3 Taxotere with Herceptin and then 3 FEC followed by herceptin on it's own, I was supposed to have herceptin till May this year but had to stop due to heart problems. I had 4 weeks of radiotherapy also.

Helen on here has had Epi/CMF same as you, so you see they still use the same chemo as when you had it..There are just so many more now and they are able to tailor chemo to your type of cancer..

Sorry to hear about your dogs, It's awful when a pet dies..I always say they are just little people in fur jackets..I'm a cat fan by the way! wouldn't be without them as they can be so calming in this awfully stressful world! Good luck with the new "charge" hope he settles in well... Carol from here just got a cookapoo last week... 8 weeks old called "ozzy" and gorgeous!

I'm off for dinner at the Waterside tomorrow....food is lovely and I'm taking Maggie there on Wed for her "Birthday" lunch...yep diet definitely out the window!!!

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

i know i dont post so much on this thread now but i do always read it

kimmy i had epi-cmf as well and i too found the cmf much worse than the epi even though i was told its much milder.... i am looking forward to meeting you at the YWF too.

sharon congratulations on your new wee niece and good luck with your chemo tomorrow hunny x

sarah and Fee i still have pain in my boob now almost 4 years from surgery and still have insane itching which drives me bonkers, the pain is like sharp stibbing pain and is tender to the touch.... apparently its nerve damage that causes it.... 25% of women still have pain a year after breast surgery and 5% continue to have pain after 5 years.

sheila sorry to hear of your troubles on chemo, hope your onc can get it sorted out for you.

maggie glad the rads havent been too bad for you... i had my last one a week ago and my boob is still bright pink and i am mega tired.

fiona have fun with your family.

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi Girls,

Fiona, hope you enjoy your dinner out, where are you going?
For my chemo I had 4 Epirubicin, which is really strong. It made me feel pretty crap but I found it bareable, then I had 4 CMF which is apparently milder but it knocked me for six. I think maybe it was a build up of the 2. I decided during my chemo that I would have my radiotherapy at the same time to try and get it all finished quicker (which in hindsight was not the smartest idea I've ever had!!) but 6 days after finishing them both, myself and my family did a 24 hour "relay for life", so there is life after chemo!!

Sharon, did I read that you have a new baby niece, how fantastic. I have 2 grandchildren of 3 and a half and 16 weeks, its wonderful, I love them to bits!!

I see some of you talking about having dogs...unfortunately we lost our 9 year old boxer and 9 year old German Shepherd last year within 6 months of each other. My husband Roddy and I have recently become fosterers for German Shepherd Rescue and are getting our first "charge" this Saturday for almost 3 weeks. He is a 9 year old called Dexy. We are so excited!!

I'm so sorry I don't really know anyone yet but bear with me. Can you give me a brief synopsis of yourselves if you have time and don't mind?

Sorry I'm droning on!

Take care

Good to hear you had a good night's sleep last night..I'm on the evening primrose oil too, to try and reduce my sweats and I'm pleased to say that I feel they might be working, not had nearly as many this week..He did say it would take a while to work and it's worth sticking with it...I've been on them about 2 months so far...I think the Tamoxifen plays havoc with the emotions, I fill up way too easy now..can't watch sad things, and happy things have the same effect!! God you can't win!!

Sharon, How are you today honey? how did things go on pre chemo? Emma is a lovely name...Has Mel decided that's the one? Hope chemo goes ok for you tomorrow..Re the wig, have you tried putting a wee clip at the front or even wearing it with a hat..I know what you mean about the front not sitting right..it is really hard to get it just right, especially when you wear it back off your face normally...I would love to see it on you as it looked such a nice wig.

Sheila, what a terrible time you've had with Tax!!! and after having had so many as well.. you must have got a terrible fright..I hope all goes ok on Monday..

Kim, What treatment did you have? I have a friend that is 6 years down the line and she still had one of the same chemo's that they use now..It's so nice to hear about people further away from finishing treatment. And even more wonderful that you are able to volounteer to help people who are going through it now..

Well I'm enjoying my visitors...My Dad's coming up tomorrow too and we're all going out for dinner, so I'm looking forward to that..My diet is well out the window at the moment!! Just chilling out tonight with a glass of wine as quite tired from work today..

Hope everyone else is doing ok?

Big Hugs to you all

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hello and welcome to Kim and Sarah, lovely bunch of ladies in here you are in good company, I live down in Glengarnock so not to far away, have to add Im the 'old lady' of the group xx

Well girls, only two more zaps to go..one tomorrow and one on Monday. YEEHAW. So sick of the sight of the Beatson.

My side effects have not been to bad compared to chemo..the hot flushes are a pain in the butt..and although my boob is sore, it's more like sunburn and the skin has been fine. Got a horrible chesty cough and it's made it all a wee bit yuckie, tiredness is horrid..but I expected it so not doing too much. Looking forward to side effects easing off..and my hair..well it's coming in quicker than I thought..it will be trailing in the gutter behind me soon ha ha !!

Hope everyone is in a good place tonight.
Annie How's whisper..it's so heartbreaking to have a sick animal, poor old Jack had the runs all over the house this morning..took me the best part of 4 hours to clean it up..he's been sleeping all day, someone gave him a greasy treat down the park last night..it was down his throat before I could stop them..he has a precious wee tummy 😞

Congratulations Auntie Sharon...blimey that baby took it's time..probably just staying inside and warm during the freezing weather.xx

How's the puppy Carol..hope he's settled in xx

Sheila, we all missed you at the lunch, hopefully get to meet you at the next one..hope you are feeling better. xx

Fiona..looking forward to Lunch on Wed..are the visitors behaving? more to the point...are you??? xxx 🙂

Helen, how are you tonight? hope you are well, looking forward to meeting you again xx

Well girls..Im off to make some tea and watch FiveUSA..(Im addicted)

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi Ladies,

Thank you for replying to my message, wish I had known about this months ago. It really has cheered me up! Great to chat to people who know exactly what planet your on!!!

Kim, I don't think it would matter how long ago you had it. I love hearing about people who are light years ahead, gives us all hope!

Just been on a bracing walk with the dogs and saw five deer grazing in a field, made me want to cry! Anybody else break down at the most ridiculous things? My worst so far has been watching Philip Schofield being accepted for laser eye surgery!!!!???

Fiona, you cut my hair last week in Sharron shop! My boob still hurts too and I'm just over the year mark from diagnosis. Before xmas it was terrible. Sharp shooting pains, especially if feeling a bit stressed (like icing the xmas cake!!). Just keep getting told that its the after affects of surgery and radiotherapy. Seems to have calmed down a bit now though.

Lastly, don't want to speak to soon, but, I may have had a full nights sleep last night! I can't remember getting up, maybe the evening primrose oil suggested by Dr Al Hasso is working after all! Will keep you all posted.

For all of you who are having treatment, I know I don't know you but I really do feel an ache inside for you all and I'll be thinking of you. Sarah XXXX

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Sharon - congrats on becoming an auntie - you must be so thrilled. Does your sister live nearby. It will be so good to have them around.
Kim and Sarah - welcome to this little group. I live in EK, but stayed in Paisley after getting married. I am the oldest but young at heart. I was diagnosed 12 years ago, then had secondary 5 years ago. Been on and off chemo to reduce tumour.
Fiona - have a good time with your family. Hope you get some nice days out.
Annie - hows the cat.
Helen - 1 year down the line and that's you back at work. Well done. Hope you're coping with work and family.
Maggie - are you OK
Don't know what's happening to me just now. Chemo monday, and took a bad reaction when they started Taxotere. Must have had about 40 taxo, so why now. It was really scary, but fortunately, one the nurses was chatting to me when it happened. Tried again after couple of hours, but dozed me up with steroids before and after. Nurse stayed with me, and was fine. That was 6th taxo, so they might stop and keep me on Xeloda. Seeing oncologist next week to discuss alternatives.

Love to you all
Sheila

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi Fiona

I can't believe that we were diagnosed on the same day - I'm a year today to the day but tomorrow to the date. Although it's the 24th (Kian & Maggie's bday) that it was confirmed for definate. I think we've done brilliant don't you? Sorry to hear your boobs really sore - you're probably doing too much - take it easy.

Hi girls,
Thank you all so much for making me feel so welcome. I can't wait to get to know you all. Hope you don't mind that I am almost 10 years after diagnosis, treatments I got back then might be different to ones you received more recently so maybe can't comment but can definetely relate to your feelings and fears!!

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi Girls

A Big hello and welcome to Kim and Sarah, post anytime and we'll answer back, our wee thread has been really good for everyone even although not everyone posts all the time.

Sarah - I know how you feel about not getting full nights sleep, I can't remember last time that was, I not on Tamoxifen tho! My cancer is hormone negative, however I am on Zolidex at moment due to being on chemo again.

Well girls I am totally shattered!!! I've either not caught up with sleep from weekend or it's due to all the excitement!! Can't tell you how proud and chuffed I am!! I can't sleep at night!!!
Still no name yet but mum and baby girl got home today and are trying to settle in.

Sheila - so glad you weren't on too long and good to see you back on here again, missed you.

Helen - Well done you!! just think of how far you've come and how quick the year pasted.

Annie - your wee cat will get there

Carol - You'll love having the pup, just remember don't treat it like a baby or it will be spoiled too much, Mel's dog Loulou seems to be getting on great with baby xxx

I got my new wig today, it's exact same colour as my hair at moment and sits exactly same at the back. It's a good wig will just never get it the way I want it, it just would never sit right.

I'm off now to get wee hot chocolate then bed to see if I can sleep.

Fee I think we were posting at the same time there LOL

Nite nite all
Lots love and hugs
Sharon xxxx

Re: Anyone from East Kilbride/Glasgow area?

Hi Girls
How’s everyone ? hope everyone is doing OK.
I can’t believe that it’s a year today that I was first told that my lump could be malignant. Thanks to everyone for all your support during the last year– what a year!.

Sarah and Kim welcome to our group – it’s a bit quiet here at the moment, but everyone is really nice. It’s a shame you didn’t join us earlier as you missed our lunch at the start of the month, but hopefully we’ll meet up again soon.

Sarah – I finished my chemo end Sept & rads end Nov. I’m on Nolvodex (tamoxifan) and don’t even know I’m taking it – I’ve been really lucky. But next prescription I’ll need to go on a generic brand which I’m dreading as I’ve managed to avoid hot flushes so far. I can definitely sleep all night - if my wee girl lets me!!

Carol – Ozzy sounds just like Seren at the moment – she’s full of cold and kept me up most of last night.

Maggie – Do you finish your rads a week tomorrow ? and is it your significant birthday too??? Can you PM me your address so I can send you a card.

Fiona – Are you having a good time with your niece? Loved your squirrel video on FB.

Sharon – the baby photo’s were soooo cute, any news on a name?

Sheila & Annie – I hope your both OK and taking it easy.

Works going fine, although I’ve had a bit of a mental block the last few days as I’ve been trying to write my 1st report for 22 months – it’s been hard going, but I think I’m getting there slowly .... very very slowly!!!!.

Take care all

Helen
