Re: Anyone near Watford Herts?

Thanks Jacksy. Will look into that. My treatment is at Watford General Hospital as it's much easier to get to. Thanks again. X

Re: Anyone near Watford Herts?

Hi Piña,

im sorry to hear you're newly diagnosed with secondaries. There's a secondary group that meets at Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood, run (I think) jointly by BCC and the secondary BC nurses there. I've only been once as its on a day when I work, but you would meet a bunch of other women there. Where are you getting your treatment?

Re: Anyone near Watford Herts?

hi Pina   Breast Cancer Care have a number of living with secondary diagnosis events in the London area. There is one starting on 3 March   you can contact  either by email for phone.   secondaryservices@breastcancercare.org.uk (link sends e-mail) or 0345 077 1893.  They meet on a monthly basis and  the course description  is  'A diagnosis of secondary breast cancer can mean adjusting to difficult changes in your life. Our Living with Secondary Breast Cancer meet-ups have been designed to give you the chance to meet and share experiences with other people living with a secondary diagnosis and get the information and support you need. - See more at: https://www.breastcancercare.org.uk/information-support/support-you/living-secondary-breast-cancer-n...  not sure if that one is convenient but there are a few others in the London area.   hugs xxxx   as well as any other groups that are going too of course (not instead) xxx

Anyone near Watford Herts?

Hi. I got my secondary diagnosis on Wednesday and would really like to meet up with other secondary ladies.

I am based in Watford  but can easily get into London or other train accessible places. Thanks. Piña x
