Hi, Not been diagnosed, but have noticed my big toe is swollen and sore, tender to the touch and uncomfortable to walk on. It may be a trip to the Dr soon. Have only been taking Anastrozole since 6th January 2014.
Hope yours has settled down now. Did you get any advice on foods to eat or avoid?
I've recently been diagnosed with gout. I was unaware that this condition usually caused by a very rich diet and lots of alcohol is also triggered by a lack of oestrogen that helps to flush out the uric acid that builds up and causes inflammation around joints usually big toes! Post menopausal women can be affected and I was Just wondering if anyone else has this?
