Thanks ladies. I finished treatment June 2013 and having herceptin,have had bumps looked at since my post,apparantly scar tissue. I think I panicked a bit but thought better to be safe than sorry. Sometimes after reading other poor peoples experiences you tend to put yourself in their position and freak out,it's difficult to put things into perspective! I hope after herceptin finishes next May I could feel a little more relaxed?
Hi there, I had my surgery many years ago now, but I remember my scar did feel lumpy for a few months and then smoothed out - I am sure if you are concnerned either your GP could look or you could ring the consultant's secretary and ask for a review appointment.
