Back without my bits..

Back without my bits…

Back without my bits… Hi Lesley,Frances and girls
This is the second time i’ve tried to post this, so if i lose it this time i might have a tantrum.
Well I’m back home now and made last minute decision in anaesthetic room to have hysterectomy .It all went really well and was a very positive experience (if surgery can ever be that). If any of you ever need a fabulous gynae-oncologist specialist,Simon Butler-Manual is your man,Excellent bedside manner (and I’ve worked in the NHS long enough to see some appalling bedside manners and poor workmanship to boot)-but he is very human and seems to know his stuff. I had a spinal block, which they put it while I was having my general anaesthetic, it was removed before I woke up and here Iam over 24hrs later, still completely pain free.(could do without the bloated tummy though! speaking of which, it is gynae protocol to do a pregnancy test on anyone under 70!!!
Anyway, I’m off for an early night ,as I had no sleep last night -the 2 other ladies sharing with me drove cows home all night long-well i suppose you cant have everything!
