I had a double mastectomy Monday 29th Feb things didn’t go to plan and I had to have 7 units of blood over the last week . I have very large seroma collections both sides which have been drained twice already. I was in hospital for a week and due to see my consultant next Monday for results and to drain seromas again. I am so sore and sound like I have hot water bottles in my chest .
Sounds like you’re having a tough time. I had a bilateral mastectomy and left ANC on 10th Feb. I drained a lot and was in hospital for a week but haven’t had to go back for draining since thank goodness. All I can say is that it does get better, a month on and I finally feel like myself again. Completely different from last week. Still a bit sore but the swelling is going down.
