Theresa, we may all be scattered around the nation (and from abroad often too), but we come together here as one. We will be here when you need us. x
Hi Theresa,
What a dreadful shock and so much to take in...you must have had a fairly stressful Christmas and yet for your girls have had to remain as calm as possible. I'm really truly sorry and sad for you, it sounds very difficult (and thats saying the least!!!). However, please do stay here and look around, talk with us and get to know the positive stories here.....for those also with your stage of cancer! Things will start to sink in slowly; give yourself time to feel all the range of emotions you need to, tears, anger, fear, flashes of feeling more in control and positive.....any range of anything is possible....but its a process and you will come to terms with it by allowing yourself time to feel whatever you need to feel. (Remember, there is a phone number at the top of the website to call at any time, so that you can speak with ladies who have also been where you are.) Its frightening at first because you come into this 'bc thing' with no knowledge and just feel the fear, but you start to realise that treatments are effective and there are a whole range of them...this bc is treatable and beatable.

Once you get your treatment plan things will be easier because you will know what is happening and when, I remember feeling the same way but as soon as I had that things did feel better.
We are all here for you just come on here, you can rant, rave, cry whatever with us because we really get you and know what you are going through my dear.
Sending you loads of hugs and a pair of the tough pants, we are all in the pockets to support you. They are freshly laundered as you can see

Well today I got the call I was dreading and I had to go in 2 hours later to see the consultant. It was confirmed I have stage 3 Breast cancer. Tomorrow I will have an MRI and a CT scan to see if it has spread anywhere else other then my breast and lymph nodes. The plan so far is to do a lumpectomy next week and then 6 months of chemo ( I think) it’s all still a blur but lucky my husband was there to take notes. Xx
