<li-spoiler>I am having Epirubicin every three weeks and every time so far I’ve needed a blood transfusion of red blood cells (though my level is slowly improving). The nurse in charge at the unit said she would ask my consultant about an injection that I could have which would, eventually, help me retain red blood cells. She said it was a carbohydrate and that a new formulation had just come out (she’d just had a presentation from the drugs rep). <br>Does anyone know about/ have experience of these injections? I’m getting fed up with having to be off work two days for treatment every cycle!<br>Thanks Elily</li-spoiler>
I haven’t heard of this but I’m in the same boat but with Eribulin. Hope your chemo works well.
