Hi. I was also diagnosed with osteoporosis after bone scan. I was changed to Tamoxifen because it is supposed to be 'kinder' to the bones. I have been on it for three and a half years now but apart from hot flushes and mild joint pains it hasn't been too bad. You will probably also be prescibed AdCal and weekly Alendronic Acid tablet for the Osteoporosis. I couldn't tolerate the weely tablet so I now have a yearly infusion at my local hospital.

Saw my oncologist today following Rads and was just a check on the pink boob and checking in my letrozole side effects which I explained I am learning to live with. But she then told me following my bone scan I have osteoporosis so now going onto another tablet. Anyone else had the same x
