Is their anyone out there that was lucky enough to have brain mets removed?

I was lucky enough to have my brain mets removed, has anyone else had this done?

I asked my onc why he did not have my 3 brain mets removed. He said it was because I would not have survived the surgery. But 6 months later the initial WBR and ongoing steroids seem to be working.
