If you go to the Going through treatment section, then look at the surgery posts you will be able to search on diep and find lots of info. I remember some conversations going on about it when I first joined. I'm sure there are lots of people there who will help you if you post again. I think they've missed your post, they are usually very chatty.
i had a left mastectomy and diep reconstruction 7 weeks ago and things are settling down nicely. The first couple of days are not pleasant but its the same as after any operation but you will feel better every day.

I am due to have a left breast reconstruction at the Royal Marsden in London on 8th January 2014. And I have loads of worrries, although I have talkrd it over and over with my specialist nurse, and am due to meet my surgeon on Wednesday, I am having a diep construction.
Suppose I just need a biit of reassurance from people who have had this done.
