Re: CHEMO BRAIN - INTERESTING

It is a topic that needs to be discussed more. I welcome this research and also I am pleased the subject is being aired on this forum.

At my support group it regularly comes up and it tends to affect everyone in some form or other.

Despite our 'chemo brain', it looks like we can help other cancer survivors as the article says they studied people with breast cancer because 'they tend to be sophisticated advocates, challenging doctors and volunteering for research'. It looks like there is still a bit of us functioning quite well!

Keep it up Christine!

Re: CHEMO BRAIN - INTERESTING

Is it ok to put just the link up? http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/29/health/29chemo.html?ex=1179547200&en=d3838d15e2498f10&ei=5070

It's not a deep link and available for free now (although it becomes pay-per-view on the 29th).
