Hi all, I’ve now been told I am starting Carboplatin next Tuesday. I have very little knowledge of this drug for liver and bone mets. Any experience will be greatfully received. My LFTs are high at the moment and I am feeling very weak and bloated. On steroids now too which should help.
If you have had this chemo how tough was it ?

Hi, I’m on this with gem. Iv just started my third cycle. I’m literary having carboplatin as I’m typing this! My first cycle I suffered badly with sickness, but that’s been the same with any chemo I have. Iv been very tried and had a blood transfusion last week. But after one cycle to showed a reduction in my liver mets. So for me it’s been effective, which is a positive thing
