You have done the best thing by arranging to see your GP. Any changes to your breasts should be checked out, just for your peace of mind. Your GP will probably refer you to your local breast clinic, but don't be concerned if this happens; it is normal procedure.
Some people jump to conclusions if they get referred, assuming the worst, but don't! Most lumps turn out to be perfectly innocent.
Another piece of advice is DON'T GOOGLE!!! It is the worst thing you can do! Stay on specialist sites like this one. The best thing you can do for yourself right now is wait and see... talk to anyone you feel comfortable talking to if you're worried. It helps to get it out of your system. Feel free to poor your feelings out on here! That's what the site is for (as well as good advice and tips from people in similar situations!)
