Change to Zoladex and Letrozole

I've been on Zoladex and Letrozole for a year and apart from very minor creaky knees, I've had no real side effects. Apart from total loss of libido! I was her2+ grade 3. Onc. advised me to walk everywhere and I think it's been good advice. Saved a fortune on bus fares, but it's made knees much stronger. Just keep going! Best wishrs

Thanks so much Sue. My cancer was grade 3 too. I guess I just need to get on with it and change over. I already get flushes, aches and tiredness after chemo so guess I need to just see how I get on.... x

Yes I am on Z and L, and have been for about 3 months. Don't really suffer too bad, just abit of joint pain and nerve issues in fingers and toes. These are small problems though and don't need to take any pain relief. Just started taking cod liver oil to see if that helps. I was put on these as had fybroids and also had grade 3 cancer so apparently its an aggressive treatment. I'm happy to go what the experts think is the best way to stop it coming back. Please don't be anxious about the treatment. The zoladex is given as an implant into the stomach once a month, which I hardly feel. And you probably won't get any side effects for at least 6 weeks.

Hi, I am currently on Tamoxifen but due to Clot risks (picc line caused a clot during chemo) my oncologist wants me to change to Zoladex and Letrozone. I am really nervous and anxious about changing. Mostly about worsening side effects with Z&L. Anyone else changed or on Z&L?
