I have posted here before,but thought I could try again,to see if anyone else has had same/similar problems.Had DIEP July,last year.Now have seroma in abdomen,which had capsulated and loculated(gone into pockets).Has anyone here have this problem?If so,what was the outcome?
Replying to my own post here…seems I am on my own with this…however,still have fluid,and scar tissue,tummy still bulging,and have to live with it now…but,have lost 3 cms round my middle,am exercising and eating properly…and maybe,just maybe,fluid is absorbing…can take a couple of years…hugs to all…
Sorry to hear you are still suffering jillybee. I have a chronic seroma in my chest area and under my arm. I had an operation 3 weeks ago, drains in for a week but it is back already. Saw consultant on Friday and he doesn’t really have a clue what to do. So disheartenening.
