4 years ago I had high grade DCIS. I had lumpectomy WLE and 3 weeks of rads. At last mammo, in July, first told OK only tobe called by consultant 2 days later and told calcifications. Following core biopsy have been told high grade DCIS and need Mastectomy with recon if I want it.
Have decided want to go down the recon line and have been given two options LD or DIEP. Has anyone had either of these procedures after having had radiotherapy? PS says I can choose.
