Re: DCIS

Hi Lindalou, Sorry to hear about the pain in your arm. Can you ask your employer if they can change your duties for a short time. I don't know if they have something you can do without lifting. Take care Kate

Re: DCIS

Hi Kate It is good to talk to someone who knows how you are feeling, My family is good but I feel like I cannot talk to anyone about all the treatment I have had. It is easier to talk to someone who knows what we are going through. I feel as though things are still raw I still have a lot of pain in my arm but my nurse is good. I am hoping I can go back to work in the middle of April, I work at the coop on checkouts i am hoping my arm gets better by then. Well take care and rest and I will send you lots of huggs Lindalou

Re: DCIS

Hi LIndalou, I know that I have to have radiotherapy but I will have a rest period before it starts. I have good support from my family and friends. It's good to chat with someone like yourself,we can understand each others feelings and concerns. I know we will come out of this but it will take time. How do you feel about going back to work? Hugs Kate

Hi Kate it is good news. The reason they are saying you need radiotherapy is to make sure that all the cells are gone, the specialist will only tell you the truth so don't get thinking the worst. I was thinking about you on Tuesday, and i bet you now are doubting everything you have been told. I know you are going to feel terrible still as you are not sure whether you are coming or going. I am still feeling like it now, I don't want to talk about it still to my mum or my daughters or my husband,it is too personal to me. Do you have any close family, probably you might feel different to me Take care I'll send you a big hug Lindalou
