Hi

I had a mammogram last monday (im 44 at the family history clinic)

I received a letter to go back on November 12th.  I spoke to the family history clinic to ask why I’d been called back.  The nurse said that on the inner part of my right breast the bit that curves, there is a dense area that wasn’t there on my mammogram from 12 months ago. That’s what they want to look at with a further mammogram and an unltrasound.

has anyone had this, what does a dense area mean?
