Anyone else out there fall into the 1% with me that needs a vein grafted from the forearm because the tummy veins are not good enough? I had my surgery on 13 April and recovering ok apart from side effects from one of the drugs. But my forearm is a bit numb and firm to the touch. I wondered if anyone else had had this experience and whether there are any tips for easing the recovery? Plastic surgeon assures me that I will get full movement in the arm. I've left a message for the PS nurse and I am back at the clinic on Friday, but any advice in the meantime would be appreciated!
