Decorative tattoo on recon with implant - full node clearance

After seeing Tattoo Fixers recently, I am inspired to get my recon done, but concerned about the risk of infection and lymphodema.

Has anyone had this done after full node clearance?

I have a LD recon with implant that serves its purpose, but not that pretty, and I’d like to cover the scars that are still red 8 years on (I don’t scar well).

Any advice or info would be great.
