FEC 5 Day 21
Hi rose jack, just found your post. First of all have to say sorry you need to be here but also you've come to the right place for support. As you can see from just above I am just coming up for my last chemo tomorrow, I had lumpectomy in July and started chemo in August, it's not easy but its doable. You will have good and bad days and nights and although you can't see it now the light at the end of the tunnel is there. Don't look at the whole process in one go just take a bit at a time and sometimes look back to see how far you've come already on this horrible journey, you will get through it just draw on all the support you can. Also, not sure if you know this, I found out by accident, but as a cancer patient you are entitled to free complimentary therapy and it really helps a lot, its a pamper session once a week thats worth its weight in gold. Not sure what area you are in but you can ask at the chemo unit you go to they may know about it or try your bc nurse. Lastly, there are monthly threads on this forum so whichever month you want to follow you can go to that thread and all the other ladies on that thread will be going through the same things at about the same time so you can help each other. Hope all goes as well as it can for you and don't hesitate to go wherever you like on this forum you will always be welcome, all the best, lots of hugs and care xxx
