Hi Kala, well done you! 😋 That's such a supportive and positive post. Im part of the May chemo group and can't remember seeing you on there. There are a lot of good stories at the minute as we are getting into our chemo stride, so perhaps you would like to join us? X

Re: Difference a week makes!

Hi something a little bit different but I just wanted to mention what a difference four days make after first session of Fec-t chemo. All I can say is if I can get through this, biggest wimp going !! Then all you amazing ladies out there can. I had chemo on Wednesday and by Saturday I was feeling so much better. I seriously thought I was going to be in bed for longer and I know each and every person has different side effects, mine being , now don't laugh. I cannot stop licking my lips although my mouth isn't dry?. There is some amazing support out there and I have felt very lucky to know that I can call up the breast cancer nurses, oncologist team etc etc if there are any worries. Resting a lot is the key and gentle walks has helped so much. I wish all of you ladies all the best and thank you for sharing your views on this wonderful forum site. It has helped me enormously 🤗🤗 also I have to say I love you mr pick line 👍👍

Difference a week makes!

Hello all, posted last Sunday which was day 4 after diagnosis as felt totally out of control. As I said in title what a difference a week can make.
The support and advice I have taken from here has been amazing.
Family, friends and work all know and their support led to more tears.
My doctor signed me off to work on 'me' as op on 5th June. Not sure about this as too much time on my hands. So plenty of walking, socialising and my Oh has said please don't start any more decorating!
Feeling very positive and just wanted to re assure anyone just finding out that it does get better. Didn't think this time last week I would feel like this,😀
