Discolouration on breast?

2 REPLIES 2

Re: Discolouration on breast?

It could easily just be a bruise, particularly given the events you described. Try not to worry and just keep a eye on it, and if it doesn't improve get it checked out.

Hi Hannahbug

Welcome to the BCC discussion forums.  You've come to the right place for some good, honest support from the many informed users of this site.

Could I suggest that you make an appointment to see your GP and just get it checked out.  As I am sure your fellow forum users will tell you, the majority of breast problems are not breast cancer but it is always the best policy to get any changes to your breasts checked.  If you need to talk to someone in confidence please do give our helpline team a ring who will be only too happy to help.  Calls are free 0808 800 6000 lines open weekdays 9-5 and Saturdays 10-2

Discolouration on breast?

Hi, i'm a 19 year old female and i've been
really worried since Friday night. I started my period yesterday, so my
breasts were already tender anyway. So, on Friday night, my baby sister was
sitting on my lap and she hit my breast with her head. When i went to bed, i
noticed a bruise mark on my breast. It's round and because of my stretch
marks it isn't discoloured fully but just the edges. Like a ring worm for
example. I'm so worried as i keep thinking i have breast cancer...
