Double mastecomy to reduce chances of getting breast cancer

Hi I am new to this, I was wondering if any one else has been told they have brca2 gene and if so have you or are choosing to have a double mastecomy to reduce ur chances of getting breast cancer, does any one have any advice if you have had surgery or have decided too Ty
