I was dx with invasive ductal carcinoma at the beginning of March. I was told it is ER+ and PR+ HER2 -. Had WLE this week and SNB. Just waiting path results. I received a copy of a letter that was sent to my docs saying it is ER + 8/8 and PR+ 8/8. I think I have my head round the ER part and that most pre-menopausal ladies end up on Tamoxifen after other treatment but not sure about the PR implication. Does Tamoxifen also block Progesterone? Thanks
