Fake Eyebrows - anyone got any tips?

Hi I searched the Internet and brought a pair, sorry a while ago and can't remember where, however they are still sat in my drawer! Found a website heathers hair.co.uk which provides hair weaves and got one that had a long fringe so didn't see my eyebrows. Thankfully all has grown back now. Hi, I've been using wunder brow and it's absolutely fantastic. I was using pencil but was constantly worried about rubbing my eye brows off, lol, but this stuff is brill and stays put for approx 3 days. Takes a bit of practice but then it goes on so easily. I've had loads of comments about how good my eye brows look. 

Cant get on with false eyelashes much to my disappointment but, I wear liquid eyeliner on top and bottom lid anyway so I'm kind of getting away with it, lol 

wunder brow cones in 4 different shades and is usually £19.95 but it had mine on offer in boots for £17.95.

Hi ladies,

you may have found many different options, which suit you and you can get on with.

I wonder whether you have come across this one - they are real hair 'eye wigs' and if you look for them on Amazon you might find them.

They really do look the part! I have a pair standing by  as and when and shall post a photo, should the day arrive.....

Hi I've got to hairs one side and six the other.... I got an eyebrow pencil from LookGoodFeelBetter, and the showed me how to use it (on the side of the pencil), and my eyebrows look OK (with glasses). I only do them when I'm going out, but people say how fab (aka "well!) I look...Jane

Hi, I lost mine completely during chemo and started to look like Uncle Fester! I used Benefit's eyebrow pencil and Browzing. I'd never drawn brows on before but with a light touch and the right shade no-one could tell they weren't real. I found losing my eyebrows harder than losing my hair, but they did come back eventually. Good luck x

My eyebrows have more or less fallen out as much as they are going to (just had last Chemo) but there are still quit a few left, mainly stubby grey ones. I started wearing my Chemo makeup before they all fell out. I had never worn eyebrow pencil as I have very dark thick eyebrows. Normally in the summer I wouldn't wear much eye makeup.

So I bought my pencil with a brush at the end and would gently go over my eyebrows in a shading way rather than drawing them on. By the time the fell out I was used to shading in the area and they don't look great but aren't too bad. The tip for me was the shading gently then smudging into the eyebrows that are left rather than drawing on. Also the little grey hairs pick up the colour from the pencil. Also I started wearing black liquid eyeliner as it helped with lack of eye lashes.

As with a wig I would have felt too conspicuous going out with false eye brows.

hi, I tried drawing mine on with eyebrow pencil, but I looked like a clown! lol,
in the end I ended up having a wig with a full fringe which just touched where my eyebrows should be,
now my hair is growing back and I am not wearing the wig, for some reason having hardly any eyebrows feels ok,

not an ideal solution, but one that worked for me,

Hi - have been on a look good feel better workshop and the goodies are fab! My problem with the draw on ones is I am a face fiddler, constantly touching my face so I think - a bit like my eyeliner sometimes drawn on eyebrows would end up half way down my face!

I saw some online called nubrow - they look good but am just reluctant to spend £40 on them if they are rubbish!

I also had the semi permanent tatoo for eyebrows. Did a lot of research beforehand and found a lovely lady who was private but also worked at the hospital in the cancer unit, so I felt that was safe.
Yes they were very expensive. I had them done a year ago and they still look fantastic. But best money I've spent in a long time.
But this was a long time before I was diagnosed, not sure if I would do it while going through chemo. Do a lot of research and get advice first.

i completely lost my eyebrows 2 years ago due to thyroid problems. Tried every make up counter there was, but no matter who drew them on with whatever expensive product they had, i got them to take it straight off. I dont wear make up and so the eyebrows just looked ridiculous.

Then i saw my friend who had a similar problem and she looked stunning. She had semi-permenant tattoo's. Given my huge, huge needle phobia and the cost i did not rush straight out and get them. But I went to speak to the lady to see if we could work through my problems and went for it. Sooo expensive, but I am delighted. It makes me look much younger and more alert. They have just started to fade so i went for a top up. Its a big of an expensive annual outlay, but its worth every penny to me.

I think you would have to see pictures of the practitioners work to see how skilled they were though before lashing out a few hundred pounds.

i used avon glimmer stick for brows in blonde for me,was great as could feather it on to look natural,not a solid line and cheap too x

Try to book yourself onto a Look Good Feel Better session, where you'll be taught how to draw on eyebrows, and you'll get a great goodie bag (including an eyebrow pencil!) to take home with you.

My eyebrows didn't all disappear, but got a bit thin so needed a bit of colouring in. Similarly my eyelashes didn't all drop out at the same time so I had short stubby ones, but wore eyeliner which did the trick, when I could be bothered. (Didn't bother with a wig either, so you can tell I'm not particularly fussed about my appearance...)

Hi didnt use fake eyebrows as they didnt go completely but after spending shed loads of money on eyebrow pencils stencils wax kits etc I found the best eyepencil which really filled in the little id got realistically. It was by MAC the shade was "lingering" not too dark and it is self sharpening so always fine at the tip. Not cheap at £15 or so but I ordered on the web and its the best £15 I have spent in the last year!!!

Afternoon All,

So hair is rapidly going south and eyebrows gonna follow shortly - have been having a look at the fake ones and before I spend loads of money was wondering if anyone has used them, what brand, what did you think? Do they look realistic? Also fake eyelashes - has anyone found any realistic but not over the top ones?

Blimey soon there is going to be not much of me that is real...new boob, new tummy, new hair, new eyelashes, new eyebrows!
