Hi - After three years post DIEP, I am going in to have fat transfer - my PS will lipo a small amount of fat out from my reconstructed breast, (which was originally taken from my tummy), and transfer the fat into my healthy breast to give me more symmetry as my reconstructed breast is larger that my healthy breast. What can I expect post op? Is there much bruising and is it painful and sore? I was told to expect only 60% of the fat to survive and I forgot to ask if that percentage survives for ever - does anybody know the answers to my questions - thanks in advance - feeling anxious!
