Re: Feel like an idiot

Hi Helen

It was posted 11 times - and deliberately at a time, when the moderators are unlikely to be able to do anything.

The posts will dissappear tomorrow after 09.00 at a guess.

I have gone through them all and the ones Ann had not marked or reported - put a message on saying post has been reported and to ignore.

But so many people have already seen them.

It is simply awful!

Hugs

It has appeared on several threads and poor ann has reported them all.  These people are so annoying.

Hope you are well xxx

Re: Feel like an idiot

I will find out if the microcalcifications are anything to worry about this week after they have had their weekly meeting tomorrow.  They will ring me if I need to go back but otherwise I will just get a copy of the letter they send out to my doctors to say I don't need to go back.

Poppyfields, I hope everything goes ok with the pre op. xxx

Re: Feel like an idiot

That's good news. I'm happy for you. I hope the microcalcifications come back OK too. Do you know when they will confirm? Let us know how it goes.

I've got my pre op on 21st Dec, so a bit of progress.

Re: Feel like an idiot

Hi all

Firstly apologies for the delay in posting this.

The good news is that everything came back clear.

The lump is a fibroadenoma and they don't intend to remove it unless it gets a lot bigger.

The sample from the Lymph node cluster came back as normal tissue.

As they had fast tracked my last biopsy on the micro calcifications it still has to go to their weekly meeting this week but the consultant I saw said that he was 100% certain that there was/is nothing to worry about.

Have to say that everyone on here has been a massive support for me over the past 3 weeks and I can't thank you all enough.

Thanks all for caring and I'll certainly be sticking around to offer support/hugs where I can. xxxx

Re: Feel like an idiot

Good luck with your results Loubs.Let us know how you get on.

Re: Feel like an idiot

Hi. I'm glad it was better this time. I really hope the results are good news.

Let us know.
Best wishes.

Re: Feel like an idiot

Well this week all was ok.  They lay me down and did the biopsy from a different angle so I couldn't see what was going on and less chance of me keeling over!

I'm back tomorrow for my results from the lump biopsy and they were going to try and fast track these samples so that the results would also be ready for tomorrow.

So I guess it's fingers crossed now......

Re: Feel like an idiot

Don't beat yourself up, whatever the cause, it's not your fault. It could happen to anyone.
Is it possible to ring and ask before Tuesday?
Big hug

Re: Feel like an idiot

Thanks Poppyfields.

I'm  not sure.  I will ask on Tuesday whether they used anything different to what they have used previously. Thanks - I hadn't thought of that.  It all happened so suddenly and i was so annyoed with myself, just wanted to get home.

Re: Feel like an idiot

Could it be you were having a reaction to the type of anesthetic they were using? Do you know if you've had that particular one before?
Just a thought...

Feel like an idiot

So after having multiple mammograms, ultrasounds a core biopsy and needle biopsy last Friday I went back today for a stereotactic mammo biopsy. All was going well until she started to inject the anaesthetic and then I began to feel a little hot and light headed. Things then went bad to worse and I almost fainted 😞
They then had to stop the procedure and ive to go back next Tuesday.
I'm so annoyed with myself as now pushed back another week.
Any tips to avoid this happening again?
