Hi, I am a 51 year old Student, currently studying Acupuncture and in my final year. I have experienced low self esteem due to scarring after mastectomy. Is there anyone else who has experienced the same thing?
Hi Vonka, I’m 45 and just started summer school classes Monday. Will you be getting reconstruction? That was in my plans though things have gone a bit off-track. Even though I’m sort of on hold with it, I always knew I’d never feel normal until I was “put back together” so to speak. I know it’s another ordeal but in the long run it can make you feel so much better about yourself. And there are lots of options available.
