Hi ya’ll, I’m 20 years old and I recently found a small marble-like lump in the lower left quandrant of my left breast just by feeling my breast. I decided to give myself an exam and I felt another longer more oval-shaped lump just underneath my nipple in the same breast. I’m in nursing school and we were taught what to look for but I’m still worried that it may be cancerous since it runs in my family. I’m calling to make an appointment tomorrow. Any advice to ease the worry or any similar experiences? Thanks, guys.
Hiya, Age is certainly on your side for starters but your right not to ignore any changes and we would have urged you to get them checked no matter what your age, it’s highly unlikely to be anything sinister but not impossible.
It’s very hard not to let your mind wander but try to keep occupied and not over think things, see your GP then only think beyond that if you need to Xx Jo
