Im sorry you haven't come away with better news, your feelings are the norm at the minute and they will totally overwhelm you , we all know here just what your dealing with right now and nothing much we can say will make you feel any better while you digests the news but please know that you will pick yourself up , you have to work through the shock and once you have a definite diagnosis and all tests are done you really will start to feel more able to cope, just hang in there and keep talking to us! Oh I am so sorry that you are going through this.
Well until the results are back you will not know exactly what you are dealing with which is why they are doing all the tests. IF it is confirmed as breast cancer once your team have all of these they will then be able to give you a treatment plan which is specifically for you. Breast cancer is treatable as you will see on here from the many ladies who have been diagnosed, treated and are back to their normal lives, me included.
I know it does not feel like it at the moment but the good thing is that if it is bc it has been found and can be treated. Everything you are feeling at the moment is totally normal but once a treatment plan is in place things do feel much better because you know what is happening and when, but lets deal with that when you know.
Easier said than done but try to keep yourself busy and distracted until your appointments.
Sending you lots of hugs
Hi Sam, your on the way to finding out what's going on now, that is a positive even though I know you are scared whitless right now! Always a good idea to have someone with you and to bear in mind if you have a biopsy there will be a further wait for results but it may well not come to that as the majority will get the all clear on the day 😊 Please keep us posted Xx Jo
Here is a pair of our spangly (Strictly time hence the sparkle) tough pants which will hopefully get you through your appointment, the pockets in them are very deep so that we can all be with you to support you
Take a deep breath you will get through this my dear. Is anyone going with you?
Sending you hugs
Hello and welcome.
Right take a step back and breath my dear.
Have you made an appointment to see your GP yet to get it checked out.
There are other benign breast conditions it could be but for peace of mind you need to get it checked out.
Please do not google generally on the internet as that will only make you more anxious because there is a lot of outdated and misinformation out there.
Let us know how you get on if you can.
Sending you a hug
Im sorry you are going though this stress and I truly know how awful you are feeling , many lumps do seem to appear out of nowhere but very few actually turn out to be cancerous.
I had a very definite round lump appear over night which led me to my doctor but it turned out to be just fat, I was subsequently diagnosed with Breast cancer but it was in another area and not palpable at all.
Have you been referred for further tests or are you waiting on an initial appointment with your GP?
please try not to let your mind go in to overdrive , 80% of ladies who come though the forum in your situation will come back with a benign result , hang in there! Xx Jo
