Hi folks, just joined the group and I’m posting from Ireland. I found a lump 3 weeks ago and went to my GP, she said she’s would think it’s nothing sinister and refered me for an ultrasound which I’m waiting to receive a date for… but I am so anxious I literally can’t think of anything else. It’s like my brain is in a permanent foggy state since I found it.

Well, thank goodness you’re getting it all checked out, so there’s nothing more you need to do at the mo, although inevitably, the mind goes into overdrive.
Mostly, there is a benign reason for the lump, bc is the least likely reason for it & for most women, this is the usual outcome.
In dealing with the wait, it can help to distract yourself & to carry on as normal as much as you can. Also, it helps to avoid googling symptoms as this only feeds anxiety for no good reason.
