Genetic Testing & Need to Declare to Insurance Co

Hi,

 

I have breast cancer, diagnosed April 2014, had all my treatment and as of last night still NED :slight_smile:

BUT, my mum was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer last Thursday. I had already been referred to the Genetics team by my breast surgeon in July as I told him it was likely mum’s problems were ovarian cancer.

 

My question is: If I have this test do I need to delcare it to anyone like my current mortgage provider or life insurance companies etc.
