Grade 3, is this bad???

I got my biopsy results yesterday, confirmed the cancer was missed and is present in my breast and lymph node 26mm lump.
My CT scan is on Friday and I am so scared it will have spread. They told me it’s Grade 3, triple negative .I am really worried it’s aggressive and I’m not going to beat this.

I received the exact same diagnosis yesterday! Heads all over the place. My scan is Thursday…

Hi Foxy2104 and Aimes6,

So sorry to see you had to join us here, but great that you have found this foru as it is a brilliant place to gain better insights and help and support.

The early stages of diagnosis can be really challenging, as the bits of the puzzle come together to create the picture of your complete diagnosis. It is be an emotional roller coaster for many and this site is really helpful to get a better understanding of what is happening and to share your experiences, feelings, rants and raves.

Try not to Google everything at the moment - as your actual diagnosis and results will be made up out of many different tests and results - and only when all of these are seen together  - a specialist team will discuss a treatment plan appropriate for your specific and individual diagnosis. Breast Cancer Care is delivered under NICE Guidelines , which hopefully will give you some confidence, that the right things are being done in the right timeframes.

But it is a challenging time and we are all here to support you, as and when you need it.

Treatment methods have improved immeasurably over the past few years - and some of the horror stories and images, we may have in our heads from the past are no longer true.

This link - from this site - may help you a little bit about the terminilogy and what it may or may ot mean
