Have a secondary diagnosis and need advice about Benefits?

If you are living with a diagnosis of secondary breast cancer  it can sometimes be hard to find the right information and advice, particulaly around benefits which can be ever changing. This might include what you may be entitled to claim, how to go about claiming them, where to find information about work and employment rights, and who to talk to. Information can sometimes seem confusing and overwhelming.

At our Living with Secondary Breast Cancer monthly meetings we regularly invite expert Benefits advisors along who can give you the right up-to-date support and information. It’s an opportunity to ask any questions you may have to a qualified advisor. We have these sessions coming up shortly in the following locations-

Birmingham-1 September

Cardiff-20 November

Leeds 7 November

Llandudno 4 September

Manchester 19 November

Sheffield 11 September

If you’d like to come along to any of these sessions or want to find out more then please contact us on 0345 077 1893 or email secondaryservices@breastcancercare.org.uk. If there is not one near you then please keep checking our website for details-we run a Benefits and Financial advice session in every area where run a Living with Secondary Breast Cancer service and have future sessions coming up.

Thanks
