I highly recommend The Haven if you can get to one easily. I had some great treatments at the London one, especially the counselling sessions which I found invaluable. You get to meet interesting people who have gone through, or are going through what you are and there are lots of practical tips to help you through this.
Alongside Breast Cancer Care, The Haven helped to keep me sane going through my treatment. I believe Maggie’s Centres offer similar services if you don’t live near a Haven.
